As the most-visited real estate website in the United States, Zillow offers customers an on-demand experience for selling, buying, renting and financing with transparency and nearly seamless end-to-end service.

Kris is the engineering tech-lead and a principal UX engineer on the Constellation design system team. In hist first year at Zillow, he has maintained and developed various components using React and Styled Components. He also realigned design system infrastructure, including build tools, CI/CD in GitLab, and Slack integrations.

Kris was the lead engineer on PhishMe and ThreatHQ products; single-page Jamstack applications built with Vue.js and TypeScript. He also oversaw an internal Design System, which consisted of over 60 handcrafted components, packaged with Rollup.js, and deployed to a private NPM registry in Artifactory.

Kris was one of the senior interactive developers focusing on high-performance and data-driven web development. He won the 2014 and 2015 WebAwards for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development. In his last year at Hawkeye, Kris was the lead UI engineer on the Magnolia CXM, an internal suite of business applications built with Ember.js, Ember Data, and Ember Engines.

Elm Street Tattoo has been serving up tattoos by appointment and walk-in for over 20 years in the historic entertainment district of Deep Ellum in Dallas, TX.

Kris designed and developed a custom website powered by WordPress and ACF. He used a variety of techniques, like lazy-loading assets on demand, to achieve a quick and efficient experience.

Red Ventures is a portfolio of brands and digital platforms that improves every aspect of the consumer journey, helping people make better decisions while unleashing transformative growth for their businesses and partners.

Kris designed and helped to develop several internal R&D products, including Articulate, ShadowBoard, and Tagular. He also designed and developed various websites and A/B split tests for Insurance and Energy business clusters. Additionally, his hackathon project, an interactive map for HBO's Game of Thrones, was featured in one of the Time articles.
